My progress so far :)

Created by MyFitnessPal - Free Weight Loss Tools

So, this is where I'm at right now. Current weight: 185 lbs. Goal weight: 135 lbs.If I work to lose about a pound per week, that should put me at my goal in about a year.

My fitness goals: regular activity

Monday - 30-40 minute Walk.
Tuesday - 1 hour Zumba (an amazing work out. You seriously burn billions of calories.) (Okay, actually, an hour is more like 700 calories. But still... awesome.)
Wednesday - 30-40 minute Walk
Thursday - 1 hour Zumba
Friday - 1 hour Yoga
Saturday/Sunday - break

My food goals: cut out all the crap!

NO:

C - carbonated drinks

R - refined sugars

A - artificial sweeteners

P - processed foods

1) Cook more often, and make yummy, healthy meals that I feel good about having eaten.

2) Stock up on healthy snacks to nosh on... like fruit! Mmmmm... fruit. If you are going to have a dessert, take the time to make it from scratch with beautiful, good-for-you ingredients, rather than buying dessert filled with insane amounts of sugar and tons of preservatives/ingredients I can't pronounce...

3) Reduce dairy intake.

4) Avoid high fat animal-based foods (butter, cream, cheese, etc.)

5) Shop for beautiful food, at H&W Produce, and farmers' markets, and Planet Organic... and when shopping at Save On (etc.) focus on whole foods. No pre-made or pre-packaged foods!

6) No more buying chips!!! Evil, EVIL chips!!! If you want them, make your own with sweet potato or beets or kale in the oven!

7) Stop eating out so much!!! It should be special occasions, not "I don't feel like cooking". Fat food is evil. Eeeeevil.

My rest &  renewal goals:

1) Sundays - go out to mom and dad's acreage to work on the garden and have dinner with the family!

2) Start doing art again. (Post that progress here too! Yay, pretty pictures....)

3) When stresses, instead of crashing in front of the tv and chowing down, channel all that tension into something productive; go for a walk, or crochet, etc.

4) Crochet while watching tv, to eliminate the desire to snack, just to keep my hands busy... (And hey! Since we're posting pictures of everything else...)

5) Keep my room clean and organised! Don't let my busyness at work translate into an explosion of my stuff at home. My room should always be a refuge.

6) Read more.

7) Drink tea and lots of water.

8) Live every day lovingly, gratefully, and joyfully. :)
